Step IV: Add Signature Style in Apple Mail

  1. Open Mail.app , on the top app bar, Go to Mail > Preferences, then click Signatures .

  2. In the left column, select the email account where you want to use the signature.
Note: If 'All Signatures' is selected when you create a signature, you’ll need to drag the new signature to an email account before you can use it.

  3. Click the Add button below the middle column.

  4. In the middle column, type a name for the signature. This name appears in the Signature pop-up menu when you write a message.

  5. Choose one of the signature styles (as shown above) and highlight it (ISOC logo included). Right click and press 'Copy' (copy shortcut command + c).

  6. In the signature editor, right click and press paste (or use the paste shortcut command + v).
Note: If the ISOC logo does not paste into the window, locate the image file on your computer and drag and drop it into the signature editor window. All formatting and links from the copied signature style are removed.

  7. Bold your name : Highlight your name, right click, scroll down to 'Font' and click 'Bold'

  8. Add link(s): To make the internetsociety.org text an active link, highlight the text, right click, scroll down to 'Link' and click 'Add Link'

Type or paste the address of the link into the text box and press 'OK' when finished

9. Apply your signature. If not already selected, click your isoc exchange account on the left hand panel. Choose Signature and select your signature name (as defined in step 4) from the drop down list.

10. When you have finished, close the window. The modifications are automatically saved.
