FAQ:

  1. Where is the data stored for this?

  1. The data is stored within our Zoom cloud storage space. This is a requirement for using ZRA, as part of its functionality occurs after the recording has concluded for the analysis to complete.

  1. Who has access to the data? Is it only the meeting host, or would all participants have access? Are there others with access to the data stored in the cloud?

  1. Zoom ZRA is designed to allow the meeting host to initially access the output of ZRA. Meeting hosts can share the output of ZRA through cloud management. Meeting hosts may download the recordings and upload them to Box for distribution. Meeting hosts may additionally copy and paste the summary for distribution rather than sharing access to the entire output of ZRA.

  1. For the meeting summaries, Zoom sometimes characterizes participants' engagement; who can access this? How is it planned to be used? By managers? By HR?

  1. The character analysis is initially only accessible to the meeting hosts. We have no plans regarding the use cases for this data, as it is just a feature of ZRA that we cannot disable. ZRA is marketed as a sales tool, so many features are designed to increase sales teams’ performance, which does not apply to the Internet Society.

  1. The meeting summary functionality in Zoom ZRA is significantly different than the ease of Zoom Summary (which we chose not to get because it violated our AI policy). Is there a way to simplify this in Zoom ZRA so that it can emulate the functionality of Zoom Meeting Summary?

  1. Currently, it is not possible to simplify the summary output. Zoom ZRA is a separate, self-contained tool, and any features that would have used AI Companion have been disabled and blocked due to non-compliance with the Internet Society’s Artificial Intelligence policy.
